Established in 2012, Kangarilla Creamery is located in the heart of McLaren Vale, a unique pocket of coastal land famed for its wines, produce and being the gateway to South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula.
Our cheeses are made using traditional techniques from the milk of sheep and goats farmed within our community by people sharing our love for the animals and the land upon which they roam.
Born and bred in the McLaren Vale region, our Cheesemaker Alison Laffer started her career as a Dairy Farmer and after many years of tinkering away in her family kitchen she set about creating the region's first Creamery. Alison has studied extensively and is now widely regarded as a specialist cheesemaker having gained significant experience working with internationally renowned cheesemakers.
