Karijini Visitor Centre is located in Karijini National Park, in the Pilbara region of Australia's North West. The Visitor Centre is not far from the Park's fascinating eastern gorges, and has an extensive interpretive display covering aboriginal culture and heritage, pastoral and mining histories, geology, fauna and flora. There is a leisurely informative walking trail located at the rear of the Visitor Centre.
A comprehensive retail section is available to browse, focusing on goods reflecting Karijini and the Pilbara. Cold drinks, ice-creams and ice can also be purchased.
Visitor Centre staff provide information and detailed maps regarding the activities that can be undertaken in the Park. Karijini offers majestic gorges, stunning vistas, waterfalls and swimming holes that can be accessed throughout the year.
The Visitor Centre is open from mid-February through to mid-December. During that time it is open seven days a week from 9am to 4pm.
