Unfortunately, the Australian National Maritime Museum is currently closed. This follows the Australian Government’s ban on all non-essential gatherings to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Action Stations offers a new and exciting way to experience and discover over 100 years of history of the Royal Australian Navy.
Join the action and feel what it is like to be on board a warship during operations.
Get an insight into the inner workings of navy life at sea with a dramatic immersive cinematic experience, discovery and exploration spaces and audio-visual encounters that recall sailors' memories on board the vessels. Dive into the world of archaeology and learn more about their first submarines, AE1 and AE2, and the discovery and conservation of their 'sunken fleet' - the vessels and the stories they tell.
Then step on-board and see the vessels submarine HMAS Onslow and destroyer HMAS Vampire - the highlight of any visit to the Museum.
Action Stations access is included in Big Ticket entry to the museum.
